In a few generations time (or maybe quite a few), will we finally be rid of creationists due to evolution? Will they only breed with each other in an ever-lessening gene pool until they die out due to lack of variance across the population? Or will rational thought stamp out the dumb ideas before evolution does? Your thoughts please people.

There's very few people to hack at for thoughts, but it all has to start somewhere..
Welcome aboard. I think science and rationality will put paid to creationism LONG before evolution does. Ideas have such a great way of adapting. Take a look of ID scientists. They realized that Biblical creationism was wrong and they adopted some "fill in
the gaps with god" philosophy.
Also, people are great at denial. There is still a flat earth society. However, I wonder how strongly they believe in it.

Darwin published On The Origin of Species over 100 years ago. It's taking a long time to wipe out creationism. Don't expect ignorance to
vanish any time soon.
